SEO’s: Who Optimizes YOU?

Ferrari 458 Italia

Good SEO consultants and SEO Agencies provide a very valuable service to the clients smart enough to work with them.  They help squeeze the most revenue out of the most cost effective sales channel known to mankind:  Organic Search.

SEO’s tirelessly work to make websites shine in the eyes of both human visitors and non-human bots.  Part art, part science, and a lot of hard work. But you know the payoff for you and your clients:  Increased rankings, increased conversions, and increased sales are what it’s all about.  You clearly believe in the value you provide to your clients when you optimize their money making machine.

Your life is optimizing websites, but have you optimized your SEO process?

Who Optimizes the Optimizers?  What are you doing to optimize the performance of your Search Agency? Your money making machine? Are you just trying to outwork the competition with blood, sweat and too many beers?  Trying to cut corners with a little black hat magic?  Or have you gone overboard the other direction – are you stuck in the quicksand of  27 separate tools trying to get the best data?

Like any business, sometimes a set of fresh eyes and fresh ideas can expose you to a better way to run your business.  No, I’m not suggesting you  re-evaluate your business process every month.  You have to actually do some work, and you need a process that you can get into a rhythm with, and go on autopilot and get in the zone.  That is also the problem.  Once you find a system, a process, that works then you stop looking for larger changes that could make a bigger impact. Given that SEO is a technology driven industry,  things change pretty quickly. This means that while your process was great at one time, it can become yesterdays news quicker than the latest skank on Jersey Shore.  If you don’t occasionally review what’s available to take your business to the next level, you will no longer be in a position of strength.  Being left behind with outdated processes will be like drag racing your competition who is in a  Ferrari, while you furiously peddle a Moped.

Tomos Quadro Moped

What can help you get off the Moped and into the Ferrari?  Using a web-based SEO Tool that is constantly updating and changing with the industry is a great start. Once you are on board, you don’t have to worry about your process getting outdated, just worry about the SEO.  Outsource the process optimization to a company who’s sole mission is to streamline the SEO process and make you successful.  Now you can focus on the higher level SEO strategy rather than wallow in the minutia of tedious details. Increase rankings and revenue for your clients, ensuring that you keep them longer. Add more clients without adding more man-hours.  If the SyCara SEO Tool isn’t a perfect fit, find an alternative that is. Just make sure it’s an all-in one tool and has a smart way to tie the different pieces of the process together to maximize the potential efficiencies of your work flow.  Of course, you will still probably use a few other tools for very specific purposes, but consolidation is key for efficiency. Oh, and by the way, can your tool help you land new clients? It should.

Even if you think driving a Ferrari is lamer than Magnum PI’s mustache, it’s still  faster than a moped for getting you where you want to go.

Here is a video of SyCara’s Keyword Visibility Report.  This is what tells you exactly where you stand in the eyes of Google, Yahoo and Bing.  You can, like I have in the video, just show one search engine, or all 3.  You can also compare your URL to it’s competitors.  Well, you get the point.  Enough of me telling you about the video.  I’m sure you would rather just watch it!
